ABB-free@home® System Access Point and OneTouch are Matter-certified Bridges, enabling up to 150 ABB-free@home® devices - including lighting actuators, blind sensors, motion detectors, thermostats, and door entry systems - to operate within Matter ecosystems. This means users can control ABB-free@home® devices not only via the ABB-free@home® app, but also through platforms like Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.

How to Matter Bridge

With the Matter Controller add-on software, the system also supports integration with third-party Matter-certified devices, such as those from Eve Systems, all manageable through the ABB-free@home® app.

System Access Point

System Access Point is a Matter-certified bridge connecting up to 150 ABB-free@home® devices to major ecosystems. It requires a Thread Border Router (e.g., Apple HomePod Mini, Google Nest Hub) for Thread network establishment. The system supports the latest firmware updates for Matter functionality on systems manufactured since 2018.
