ABB to participate Light+Building exhibition, Frankfurt
Held every two years, Light+Building will take place between 13-18 March 2016 at the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre, Germany. ABB will be showcasing a range of lighting and building solutions in Hall 8, Level 0 - booths F50 and G50 - where we look forward to meeting many of the anticipated 200,000+ visitors to the event.
Light+Building provides a good opportunity to feature our range of ATEX/ IECEx approved explosion protected electrical products specifically manufactured for the Industry field, including conduits and fittings, cable glands, control boxes and lighting.
Our explosion protected XFFL tubular and LED light fitting - designed to operate in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 - is manufactured from copper-free, marine grade aluminium alloy, and is available with either a UV protected polycarbonate tube (2.5mm thick) or borosilicate glass (7mm glass). Its LED module provides an operating life of 100,000 hours and an extremely high 5,000 lumen output. All components are mounted on a sliding gear tray for easy installation and maintenance. Able to operate between a temperature range of -20 C to +55 C, the XFFL tubular LED light fitting is ingress protection rated IP66 and impact protection rated IK09.
Our EVNL linear LED fittings – designed to operate in Zones 2 and 22 – are constructed of glass reinforced polyester and provide high impact strength, and feature a UV protected polycarbonate diffuser to resist harsh, hazardous area environments. The LED module provides an operating life of 100,000 hours and an extremely high 5,000 lumen output. Its double central locking mechanism provides superior ingress protection and is rated IP66 for IEC 60529. Impact protection rated IK09 according to IEC 62262, our EVNL linear LED fittings are able to operate between a temperature range of -20 C to +55 C.
These, and many more electrical solutions for hazardous area applications, can be found at Light+Building Frankfurt on booths F50 and G50 (Hall 8, Level 0).
