OTDC switch-disconnectors range above 250A ensure reliable breaking power for every level of current, enhancing safety, efficiency and simplicity.

For 1000V DC systems, the basic configuration is two poles from 315A up to 800A (IEC 60947) and from 250A up to 600A (UL98B). Side operated versions are available from 250A up to 400A (UL).

The same is for 1500V DC systems, where the basic configuration is again two poles from 315A up to 800A (IEC 60947) and from 250A up to 600A (UL98B). Furthermore, optimized 2-pole DC switch-disconnectors for 1500V DC utility-scale photovoltaic power plants and for Energy Storage System (ESS) applications offer both a size reduction and an increase in efficiency and performance, helping manufacturers to adapt quickly to the industry rapid adoption of 1500V DC solutions.
