Data communication system (DCS)

How it all connects

The variability of a cover plate that harmoniously matches the ranges characterizes the data communication system (DCS).

For applications such as data networks with RJ45 sockets of category 5 or 6 shielded or unshielded, optical fibre with ST and SC plugs and many others, a total of 26 different bases are available.

The plug connectors are easily joined to the corresponding base. The hinged base is mounted to the fixed support ring ready for connection. Then the cover plate is screwed to the unit. The labelling strip is placed above the fastening screws and centred with the transparent cover.

The inclination of the base (approx. 30°) guarantees that the cable connection is protected and loss of transmission is prevented. Mechanical loads such as leverage no longer occur.

Short installation times, optimum conductor routing and good appearance are the outstanding features of the data communication system (DCS).

How it all connects

Different plugs and sockets from other companies can be capped using a cover plate which matches the switch range. Where this is not possible, special fixing plates, supporting frames and adapters can be used which Busch-Jaeger can supply in many variations. In this way visual continuity is ensured.
