Your Personal Data
ABB is responsible for your personal data. ABB refers to ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd (incorporated in Switzerland under the company number CH-020.3.900.058-8) and its subsidiary companies. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, the controller of your data will be the ABB affiliate which is communicating to you. This notice applies to all such companies.
What we need
We are collecting and using the following categories of your personal data: First name, last name, business address, business e-mail address, business telephone number, mobile business number, title, title, academic degree, business fax number.
Why we need it
We use your personal data to understand your interest in our products, develop further business opportunities with you and provide you with marketing communications if you have indicated that you wish so. Further we use your personal data for the performance of a contract with you or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into such contract. We collect only the personal data from you which we need for these purposes.
How we share your personal data
We share your personal data with other ABB companies inside and outside of the European Union, a third party software company inside the EU and a marketing automation provider inside the EU.
We are committed to a high level of data protection within our group of companies. However, due to the large number of different countries in which we operate your data may also be transferred to countries where local legislation provides for a lower level of data protection than in your country.

How long we keep it
We will keep your personal data only as long as is necessary for the above mentioned purposes. After this time, we will securely delete your personal data. If necessary to meet legal or regulatory requirements and/or resolve disputes, we may keep some of your personal data after this time.
What are your rights?
You have the right to correct any error in your personal data or update it.
Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located and in which your personal data is processed, you may also have the right to:
