ABB has been ranked the 7th most attractive employer in Finland out of more than 100 companies in the 2024 Universum survey for professionals. ABB was also ranked in the same position by engineering professionals last year.

Universum's research annually reveals the most attractive employers by professionals and the qualities associated with them. More than 8,600 professionals participated in the survey this year, of whom close to 1,900 represented engineering professionals. The most attractive employers in the Natural Sciences, Humanities, Health/Medicine, IT, Engineering and Business sectors were announced on September 17, 2024.
As the most important characteristics of an employer, professionals mentioned competitive base salary, flexibility, a variety of tasks, respect for people and secure employment.
