Teams from ABB Saudi Arabia's training department headed both East and West recently to take part in career days at two of the Kingdom's leading universities.

The first trip, led by Sultan Alhomeidani, was to Rabigh and the Kingdom's only postgraduate university. Founded last year, King Abdullah University for Science and Technology or KAUST, focuses on science and technology courses including control systems and electrical engineering.

ABB's training department met with over a hundred postgraduate students during the one day event as well as faculty from KAUST.

The second visit, to King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, was led by ABB's Syed Zafer and Sultan Alhomeidani. The four day career fair was also open to students from other universities in the Eastern Region.

"Meeting with students and providing a platform for them to know about ABB is vital to the company's growth in Saudi Arabia," said Syed Zafar. "We always aim to recruit the best graduates and build up our brand image at universities. These students will go on to become the next generation of business leaders, and they need to know about ABB and our capabilities."
