Cyber Security Monitoring Service is a service for continuous improvements in IT security. The work is based on a three-step approach to deeply diagnose, analyze and create sustainable management system protection and proactively maintain your investment:
Step 1: Diagnostics / Analysis
Together with you, we review your routines, responsibilities and roles in security work, and configure ServicePort with unique conditions in your system. We also conduct training in using ServicePort locally with you. The first step then includes in-depth diagnostics and state-of-the-art security of the Cyber Security Fingerprint. With a service agreement for Cyber Security Monitoring Service, these state checks and reports are recurring according to the desired range. The report comes with an easy-to-understand risk profile and together with you and your colleagues we review results and recommended measures to help you achieve a safer system.
Step 2: Improvement
The second step is, in whole or in part, the implementation of the measures identified in the first step - and based on the defined security strategy. Security settings, guidelines and routines are enhanced to achieve well-functioning protection through all levels of security. Here ABB can provide technical solutions or assist with support and services. For example, Security Update Service provides continuous and secure access to approved security updates and virus definition files for the operating system.
Step 3: Monitor / Maintain
When prioritized and selected actions are implemented, monitoring is maintained to ensure IT security and discrepancies are detected. This is done through continuous state monitoring, visualization of current status as well as enhanced support from ABB engineers who, through remote connection, conduct regular control and evaluation of security status. The goal is to maintain a secure system in a rapidly changing environment.
