Atmospheric pressure Pamb:

Is the pressure that the earth's atmosphere exerts on the earth's surface. Measured at sea level, the annual average is 1013.25 hPa.

Overpressure / relative pressure Pe:

Is the pressure compared to atmospheric pressure Pamb. The overpressure Pe can therefore assume positive or negative values.

Differenzdruck
Differential pressure / pressure difference ΔP:

Is the difference between two pressures, differential pressure ΔP = Pabs1 - Pabs2.

 

Operating data of the measurement

Which medium is involved? Which pressure range must be covered? What are the temperatures of the medium and the environment?

These parameters are decisive for the selection of the design.
