More and more often we encounter requirements for work-places that can flexibly change their production - in batches or even piece by piece depending on the current production plan.


ABB robotic welding cells bring the customer the security of having invested well. If there are any doubts about the weldability of the part, ABB performs welding tests in its own laboratories before you actually invest in the equip-ment. The robotic cell is then pre-installed and tested at ABB’s premises, where the customer has the opportunity to verify that its configuration meets expectations before it is transported to the production plant.
All the cell’s functional components are installed on a common pallet, which allows easy disassembly, transport and reassembly in the customer’s production plant. In order to get the robot cell up and running as quickly as possible, ABB provides the customer with its digital twin in advance of the cell’s installation in the form of a virtual station, which can be programmed in ABB RobotStudio software. After installing the cell, the program that has been created will be im-ported, there is the final correction of the robots’ trajectories and production can get underway.
