ABB, a global leader in power and automation, is demonstrating the future of homes and buildings at architect'16, the finest platform of international exposition for construction and building materials presents endless opportunities for the construction sector of The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). For the event in 2016, architect’16 will be the 30th year in succession of its kind on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 until Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani. ABB is showcasing the latest solutions for smart homes and intelligent buildings demonstrating how it supports its customers to improve energy efficiency, reliability and productivity in a range of building types.

Technology highlights include:

  • ABB-free@home® - ABB-free@home® transforms the home into an intelligent home. With blinds, lights, air-conditioning and door communication – comfort, safety and efficiency can finally be controlled remotely, via a smartphone or tablet.
  • ABB Welcome - Your home is an expression of yourself. And with the ABB Welcome system, you won’t compromise impressive style for innovative technology. No matter in single family house, multi-family house, high-rise building with more than 200 apartments or in residential complex with higher security requirement to screen incoming calls, ABB Welcome provide solution for all the equirements.
  • Busch-Controltouch® KNX - For the integration of smartphones, tablets and smartwatches as remote control for KNX systems (IOS / Android). Commissioning is web-based, retrofitting directly via KNX connection. Comfortable operation.
  • Zenit and Step - Modern light switches are more than just functional; they can serve as fascinating design objects. They combine aesthetic quality with innovative technology. ABB has a full range of solutions to meet local requirements and consumer tastes.
  • ABB i-bus® KNX IP Devices - The new range of IP devices can be used in all applications in which KNX shall be interfaced to IP networks. The IP Interface is especially suitable to connect visualization systems and ETS software to the KNX bus. The IP Router can be used additionally as fast line and area coupler for KNX installations.
  • The new ABB i-bus® KNX Logic Controller ABA/S 1.2.1 - With the new ABB Logic Controller ABA/S 1.2.1 system integrators can quickly and flexibly deal with the most challenging project requirements – with a maximum of design freedom. That is because the logic controller can easily and reliably accommodate altered or extended functionality requests during construction or usage of buildings.
  • Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) - Miniature Circuit Breakers protect installations against overload and short-circuit, guaranteeing reliability and safety for operations. The System pro M compact S200 series are current limiting overcurrent protective devices. They have two different tripping mechanisms, the delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and the magnetic tripping mechanism for short circuit protection.
  • Residual Current Devices (RCDs) - Residual Current Devices protect people and equipment from the risk of fire. We offer a comprehensive range to cover all the applications in residential, commercial and industrial segments. ABB can offer all the RCD types according to IEC international standards like RCCBs, RCBOs, RCD-blocks, Earth Leakage Relays DIN-Rail and front panels.
  • Mistral 41Wall-mounting consumer units - The appealing design of the Mistral 41 series
