ABB Power and Automation Leaders (PAL) Program

The ABB Power and Automation Leaders (PAL) program may be the right career opportunity for you.

Power & Automation Leaders is a two year entry level program providing three rotational assignments. Participants may pursue assignments in a variety of roles across four divisions and corporate functions, including process engineering, operational excellence, product design, and technical sales.

Finance Leadership Track
    1. Shared Accounting Services
    2. Controlling
    3. Financial Analysis
    4. Treasury
    5. Internal controls

Rotational assignments allow the participants to work in multiple business locations. Each location provides a unique technology and business learning environment. Working alongside industry professionals, participants acquire knowledge of ABB customers, products, services and business practices.

In addition to on-the-job work experience, each member of the PAL program expands their skills by attending special training modules and participating in annual ABB events. Each event provides opportunities to network across the company.

Are you the ideal candidate?

Successful candidates for this program will possess the following characteristics:
    1. For engineering and technical tracks: have a B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
    2. For finance track: have a BS/BA in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Tax
    3. 3.0+ GPA preferred
    4. Prefer to work in an environment that uses a combination of technical and collaborative skills
    5. Be willing to relocate in order to maximize early career advancement
    6. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
