ABB announced that it has been named to Forbes list of top employers in Canada. Marking it the third consecutive year that ABB has been named to the top 30 on the prestigious list.
Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to compile the list, anonymously surveying 8,000 Canadians working for businesses with at least 500 employees. The Canada’s Best Employer list ranks the top 300 employers across 25 different industries, including engineering, manufacturing, utilities and transportation and logistics. Their methodology included surveying respondents and asking them to rate the willingness on a scale of one to 10 to recommend one’s own employer, as well as, to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stood out.
“The dedication, commitment and expertise of our employees is what makes ABB,” said Nathalie Pilon, President, ABB Canada. “As a pioneering technology leader, our employees are faced with an evolving industry whereby customers are seeking cutting-edge technologies to stay ahead of the game and it is the strength of our people who help us deliver on this ambition, every day.” adds Pilon.
“We are delighted with this distinction from Forbes. We take great pride in our value system here at ABB, and this award is a testimony of our continuous commitment to improve both our employees and customers’s experiences,“ said Sylvie Bergeron, Vice-President, Human Resources, ABB Canada.
