The HVACR award program is instrumental in recognising and honouring leadership and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives innovation in the Australian HVAC&R industry forward.
The Australian HVAC&R sector is an important and growing market segment for the controls and drives business unit of ABB Australia. Further growth is anticipated following the ABB launch of the all new ACH580 climate control drive with guaranteed energy efficiency levels, designed specifically for a wide range of HVAC applications. The new HVAC drive was very well received by visitors to ABB's stand during the recent ARBS 2016 (Air conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services) trade show held in Melbourne in May and sets the standard for simplicity with its intuitive operating panel, ease of integration with any motor, reliability and proven harmonic mitigation.

The Industry Rising Star Award (under 35 years of age) recognises the future champions and young achievers - those who have either risen quickly through the ranks, or contributed to a project, product, research or program that is making a positive difference. Nominations officially close on 26 June 2016.
The 2016 HVACR Rising Star award winner will be announced at a live breakfast hosted by Climate Control News on August 2, 2016.
