Khalifa University Career Fair
As part of ABB commitment to growing the knowledge economy, ABB Emiratization team participated in Khalifa University annual career fair held on 5th February 2018. Around 36 leading government and international organizations participated in this event with the purpose of showcasing what their companies offer for university students and graduates.
Khalifa University career fair started at 9:30 am with the opening speech and welcome message by the university management team. The event lasted until 3:30 pm with employers’ recognition ceremony. On this occasion, ABB received a “Certificate of Appreciation” for taking part in event with the aim of attracting engineer graduates and interns to work in one of the leading companies in the world.
Students and Faculty Experience
Khalifa University undergraduate and postgraduate students; along with some faculties visited ABB booth and inquired about the different programs we offer. The audience were astonished about the size and the profile of the company and programs we have. They have also showed interest to join the company if there is any vacancy that matches their qualifications and skills.

Zayed University Careers Spotlight
As part of ABB commitment to contribute in building knowledge economy, ABB Emiratization team participated in Zayed University annual career fair held on 19th February 2018. Around 70 leading government and private organizations participated in this event with the purpose of showcasing what their companies offer for university students and graduates.
Zayed University career fair started at 8:00 am with the opening speech and welcome message by the university management team. Students and graduates were eager to know about ABB, and the different programs offered. It is also worth to mention that Zayed University has “Office of Accessibility” which provide special needs students with equal education opportunities by offering them full academic, social and vocational support to ensure their success, as well as enhancing their personal growth in becoming integral members of society. On this regard, the Head of Office Accessibility, Fatma Al Qassimi; inquired if ABB offers job opportunities for graduates with “Special Needs” and ABB contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility. The event lasted until 4:00 pm with employers’ recognition ceremony. ABB received a “Token of Appreciation” titled “Shaping the Future” for taking part in this event to attract university graduates and students to work with one of the leading companies in the world.
