Since 2010, global internet traffic has grown by 30% per year¹. It would follow, then, that energy usage at data centers, which house the racks of servers which keep networks up and running, would increase at the same or faster rate. This isn’t the case. Energy usage at data centers has remained flat because of energy efficiency innovations and sustainability initiatives.
Beginning May 11 and running through June 11, 2021, data center customers can learn more about the latest trends in energy efficiency and electrical and automation solutions at ABB’s Data Center Solutions Showcase. The Showcase is aimed at helping data center customers learn about ABB technology that addresses their key concerns: speed to deployment, uptime, energy efficiency, and sustainability. The Showcase features an interactive booth tour that allows the viewer to experience ABB’s products in a way that’s customized for them.

The showcase will run May 11- June 11 and will feature an overview of each featured product grouping in the data center, product videos/websites/brochures for the products in each grouping, and four tech talks that will take place from May 20 through June 10. The showcase will highlight products under the following categories: Automation & Controls, MV Primary & Secondary Distribution, LV Power Distribution, Power Protection, Service, and Installation Products.
