With fewer operators controlling ever-larger process areas, effective alarm management is essential for protecting the plant, its workers and the surrounding environment. Yet today, too many operators face too many alarms. As a result, they often turn acoustic alarms off, acknowledge alarms without acting, or suppress them for long periods. They may not even know what a particular alarm means.

Many of our 800xA customers have replaced their electrical SCADA, electrical control system, earlier generation DCS systems, Safety System, PLC HMI, DCS HMIs as well as their video surveillance systems with one system that hides all differences and creates a seamless plant operation environment. 800xA provides the functionality of these systems built-in, this reduces the total cost of ownership and creates and unparalleled plant operation environments.

In Zusammenarbeit mit einem Endkunden wurde eine völlig neue Siemens-WinCC/PCS7-Integrationslösung entwickelt, die es ermöglicht PCS7 Anlagen einschließlich der Bedienbilder in 800xA zu integrieren. Dabei wird weder die bestehende Siemens-Anlage verändert noch muss dafür der laufende Prozess gestoppt werden. Das bedeutet, die Integration erfolgt ohne Anlagenstillstand! In einem Live-Beispiel sehen Sie, wie effektiv der gesamte Engineeringprozess durchgeführt wird und welche neuen Möglichkeiten sich für Sie als Kunden ergeben.

Fingerprint ist eine vollautomatische Analyse der Konfiguration und der Leistung eines 800xA Systems. Der komplette Installationsstatus der Software und Zehntausende für die Verfügbarkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und operative Performance relevante Leistungsparameter werden erfasst. Die in einer Ergebnisdatei gespeicherten Daten, der „Fingerabdruck“ des Systems, dokumentieren erforderliche Korrekturmaßnahmen.
