Device Integration Center

Integration of devices through the Device Integration Center ensures interoperability with the Freelance system.

Goal of the Device Integration Center is to ensure interoperability of field devices with the DCS. New devices are added to the compatibility list continuously. Driven through customer project demands and market requirements, individual device types are added for the communication protocols HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and PROFIBUS.

Benefits
Easy integration of field devices
A large portfolio of tested and certified ABB and third-party devices is available for Freelance. By using a certified DTM, the effort to integrate a device into the system is minimized.

Information availability
The right information at the right time and at the right place: all relevant device status, diagnostic, and process information is available wherever it is needed through the entire plant and across its entire life cycle.
