Custom graphical user interfaces for the OmniCore FlexPendant can be developed using common web technologies. The OmniCore App SDK offers a client support library for communicating with the OmniCore robot controller, FlexPendant integration support, and a library of optional graphical components to facilitate a common look-and-feel. The package also contains documentation for the included libraries, and instructions for deploying an application to the controller. Since release 1.3, the App SDK includes AppMaker, a visual editing tool for generating extensible App SDK-based interfaces.

IoT Gateway is an extendable communication gateway that provides OPC UA Server capabilities for the IRC5 (RobotWare 6.x) and OmniCore generation of robot controllers. It also provides a plugin concept that allows new communication gateways to be developed and installed without the need for a new release of the IoT Gateway product itself.
