ABB is first and foremost a technology company. Each year, we spend more than USD 1 billion on various R&D activities. We have 7 company research centers, employ 8,000 research staff and support 70 joint projects with universities worldwide.

As a member of the group, ABB Czech Republic can use international know-how and latest R&D results of the global company. It also rely on the strong base of its own engineering and service centers as well as the long-term experience of traditional Czech manufacturers.

 

Operation Center Europe

We also have global multi-purpose center in the Czech Republic, now active in Ostrava, Pilsen, Brno, Krakow and Bucharest. The center provides engineering and operational services for ABB units all around Europe in different industrial segments.
