The South Asia - Graduate Engineering Program (GEP) is designed to professionally develop brilliant minds and nurture future leaders in the field of engineering by giving young graduates exposure to the diverse elements of working in the innovative and technological world of ABB.

The program allows graduates to gain practical experience in different engineering functions and to grow an international network through cross functional working relationships. This helps to develop a global mindset for an exciting and challenging international career.

Overview

The 18-month program consists of three rotations across a variety of meaningful assignments and projects for the Business Unit Areas in the company. These assignments will include exposure in: business development, project management, product application, design, production, commissioning, services with a focus on training-on-the-job experience that is able to groom and build a strong engineering foundation for the graduate especially within ABB.

In addition, internal development programs, seminars and other off-the-job activities will also complement the program.

Rotations to functional areas will be allocated giving consideration to business needs, graduate's field of study / interest and available location. At the conclusion of the program, the graduates will be re-designated to a permanent functional role in the home country and thereafter continuing his / her journey.

Who are we looking for?

A potential candidate should be a recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Power, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or other related majors, with a minimum (regular) length of university studies of 3-4 years.

When and where to apply

The recruitment process typically involves interviews, an assessment center and psychometric testing.
