It also connects to in-room devices, giving guests an intuitive smartphone interface to control their room from any iOS or Android device. Its open APIs allow smooth integration with hotel Property Management System (PMS) and Building Management System (BMS) BMS , creating a unified and future-ready setup.

ABB i-bus® KNX Building Automation provides a reliable room control layer, using a proven KNX-based GRMS to manage HVAC, lighting, shading, and scenes. It delivers energy-optimized climate control and a fully customizable environment, backed by commercial-grade performance trusted in hotels worldwide.

Together, this cloud-enabled integration gives hotels a future-ready digital experience built on trusted KNX automation and a flexible platform that evolves over time.

Guests simply scan a QR code to open the Samsung SmartThings web-app - no app download needed - to control lighting, HVAC, shades, curtains, and entertainment in their preferred language.

The software from NETxAutomation acts a as system concentrator, which links the ABB i-bus® KNX Building Automation to Samsung SmartThings Pro.
