NRCan Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Government Incentives

Learn how you can deploy your EV charging infrastructure projects with NRCan's ZEVIP (Zero-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program) government incentive and funding program, and ABB E-mobility's EV charging solutions (Level 2 chargers, DC fast chargers and more).

What is NRCan's ZEVIP funding program?

NRCan (Natural Resources Canada) is now open to receive financial applications under their government incentive / rebate program, known as the Zero-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (also known as ZEVIP), for potential eligible projects in public places, on-street, in multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs), at workplaces or for light-duty vehicle fleets.

The initiative was established to support the development and fund zero-emission projects in Canada related to electric vehicle charging infrastructures through the adoption of cost-sharing contribution agreements. NRCan's ZEVIP incentive will cover up to 50% of the total project costs with a limit of up to $5,000,000 per project.
