Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are company-wide internal networks and enable employees with similarities to exchange ideas and support one another. In order to enable a diverse exchange, the groups are open to all employees!

New Line Managers will get an overview of various leadership topics, such as relevant tools and annual processes. You can find all the information at a glance here.

Managers Desktop:

• The Manager's Desktop enables line manager to view various information about employees in their area of responsibility. The Manager's Desktop is a standard SAP functionality (transaction) and is used purely for information retrieval.

Leadership principles:

• There are two management principles to be observed: first, management by objectives and second, employee development. Both principles are implemented in regular discussions between supervisors and employees.
  

HR Group Tools 
is the global SAP-based human resources portal that automates and standardizes HR processes across ABB countries. The HR Group Tools system includes the following areas:

• Talentmanagment (PDA, Assessments like FCA and LDA, Succession Planning)
• Employee Share Plan (ESAP)
• Recruiting Process (E-​Recruitment)
  

PDA for Line Manager:

• As part of the annual employee appraisal (PDA), supervisors are required to evaluate their employees. They evaluate the degree of fulfillment of the agreed performance, behavioral, and development goals. Future goals are also set.

• Use strengths and expand competencies in a targeted and efficient manner! These are goals that ABB pursues with an extensive range of offers: on-the-job, along-the-job and off-the-job. From personal assessments in different phases of life to learning opportunities in everyday work, learning in projects and work groups, courses for professional and interdisciplinary development, as well as offers for learning a foreign language, ABB offers everything so that employees can develop personally and for the benefit of all ABB customers.

Bonus Plans:

• The bonus is an operational incentive and reward system based on Group or Business goals. There are 4 different bonus plans.

Traveldoo: Access is granted via single sign on and as long as you are connected to a ABB network you can access the tool without adding a password:  abb.traveldoo.com *

Any trips within EUC need to be booked via the Booking Module in Traveldoo Online. Any intercontinental trips to be booked via ABB Intra offline.

Ticketing Tool: The T&E ticketing tool can be used via the link below where a AmEx corporate card can be applied for as well as raising questions related to expenses as well as travel related questions.
