The configuration is described in System 800xA, AC 800M PROFINET IO Configuration, 3BDS021515* in chapter 2.2.


As mentioned in the presentation, some devices like ET200SP have support for Shared Device only in case no System Redundancy S2 is used. But with AC800M and CI871 we always communicate to devices having support for System Redundancy with System Redundancy enabled, doesn’t matter if CI871 is configured in single or redundant mode. That is because having the option to add redundancy later in a bumpless manner. This would mean, Shared Device with ET200SP will only work with DAPs listed in the gsd-file that do not have support for S2 System Redundancy which are (Shared Device Supported = Yes, but no entry for System Redundancy in gsd-file): 

• Device Access Point ID=DIM HF V2.2: IM 155-6 PN HF V2.2
  
• Device Access Point ID=DIM HS V4.0: IM 155-6 PN HS V4.0

For DAPs with support for System Redundancy, no Shared Device will work:

• Device Access Point ID=DIM HF V3.0: IM 155-6 PN HF V3.0
  
• Access Point ID=DIM HF V3.1: IM 155-6 PN HF V3.1
  
• Device Access Point ID=DIM HF V3.3: IM 155-6 PN HF V3.3
  
• Device Access Point ID=DIM HF V4.2: IM 155-6 PN HF V4.2
  
• Device Access Point ID=DIM HF/2 V4.2: IM 155-6 PN/2 HF V4.2
  
• Device Access Point ID=DIM HF/3 V4.2: IM 155-6 PN/3 HF V4.2

But with patching the gsd-file and disabling the definition for System Redundancy for the related DAPs, then shared device is supposed to work with the other DAPs or ET200SP as well. The disabling can be don by just commenting the rows in the gsd-file like the following example:
