The successful entertainment concept from the market leader for electrical installation technology attracted many exhibition visitors. The show linked Busch-Jaeger’s products to an emotionally charged introduction into the world of smart homes in a fascinating way. Visitors continued to be inspired by it at the exhibition stand. The focus was on innovative solutions for smart homes under the topic of Living Space®. For example, the ingeniously simple ABB-free@home home automation system – now available in a wireless version – which enables easy access to intelligent living. Also at the center of visitors’ attention: the perfect building network with the leading global standard, KNX. With the new Busch-ControlTouch KNX, smartphones, tablets, and the Apple Watch become practical remotes which you can use to control your house even when you are away from home.
Busch-Jaeger was very pleased about the successful exhibition and the great amount of interest in the world of intelligent living. For the third time, the company was the only representative of the electrical installation industry represented at IFA. There, it showed its diverse product range, from radios that can be integrated into the switch program to save space and the ABB-Welcome door communication system through to the aforementioned comprehensive solutions for a smart home. Using a smartphone or tablet to control an intelligently networked house with ease was demonstrated by trampoline artists in a breathtaking show that was energetically accompanied by musicians. And it has now been awarded.
