If a motion detector is installed at the corner of a house, it must be able to detect more than two viewing directions and span a angle of even more than three times 90°: Not even a single centimeter around the house may be missed. In functional buildings and top‑quality residential buildings, the Busch-Wachter can optimize motion detection by precisely setting brightness, temperature and twilight values. Smart integration enables the use of twisted pair wiring into KNX ecosystem.

Three mounting options create maximum freedom for any architecture: Single-point mount, ceiling mount, corner mount. The stable design ensures precisely defined detection ranges and consistently clean switching in the long term.

Interference suppressed

No light is switched on in the event of certain heat effects: bushes moved by the wind, warm exhaust air or small animals whose movements are excluded by the optional selective detection lenses. Efficiently precise.

Range stabilized

The precise range stabilization is based on variable sensitivity. In winter, it is reduced when the difference between body temperature and air is high, and increased in summer when the difference in temperature is lower. The detection area is aligned with one meter accuracy.
