Signalling devices are used for local alarming. A distinction is made between internal and external alarming. Internal alarming is used, i.e. when people are present in the monitored building. It is used solely to make people aware of a danger. External alarming is carried out using acoustic signaling devices (sirens) and visual signaling devices (strobe light). External alarming is used to contact the neighborhood or the general public.
