This office complex of the company Alfanar was planned in the beginning of 2005 as their new headquarter and completed in May 2006. The building contains the main office of all Alfanar companies, as the Alfanar construction, trading, cables, IT, IBEM and Dar Engineering consultant. Alfanar Electrical Systems are a state of the art manufacturing facility that makes a multitude of world-class electrical products in the low and medium voltage segments.
The customer main requirement was to have only one reliable system which shall control the lights, switching / dimming, via IR remote sender or wall mounted switch sensors with LED. The control of motorized curtains and fan-coil units with space for future requirements and needs was also a criterion.
Due to the flexibility of KNX system and more importantly the presence of local support team (ABB KNX team operating in the Central, Western and Eastern regions of Saudi Arabia) the customers are confident that KNX is the right system for this building. The KNX system can satisfactorily comply with the above wishes.
