Exibition Spaces Hans Hassler AG

Stadiums and Recreation

The exhibition spaces for floor coverings of the Hans Hassler AG in Zug presents itself with an innovative lighting concept. ABB i-bus KNX technology is used to control the complex system.

For realization, two round luminous ceilings with a diameter of 6.3 meters are equipped with 162 fluorescent tubes each. On daytime they enlight the rooms, after closing time they present the exhibition spaces in an eye-catching play of colours.

What were the challenges in fulfilling the wishes of the customer?

The customer required an intelligent control system to realize a complex illumination with minimal effort. In addition, options for blind control should be implemented.

Why was the decision for an EIB / KNX solution made?

KNX in combination with DALI lighting control allows a simple and smart realization of the customers wishes. To integrate the fluorescent tubes into the bus, three DALI-Gateaways are used for each luminous ceiling.
