The Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva is located on the lakefront of Lake Geneva with view to the Jet d'eau and the majestic summit of Mont Blanc massif. In 2010, the new spa und beauty area opened. To combine ambience, security and comfort in this sensitive zone, ABB building automation technology is used.

What were the challenges in fulfilling the wishes of the customer?

Lighting an design are essential components of the spa concept of Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva. For this, lighting scenes and a central lighting control should be realized.

Why was the decision for an EIB / KNX solution made?

In combination with DALI lighting control, ABB i-bus KNX allows an easy realization of the customers wishes. Future system extensions will be possible without any problem.
