ABB My world of installation 'Totally Wired' eNewsletter sign up prize draw

1. THE PROMOTER

The promoter of this prize draw is ABB Limited (Electrification Products) of Tower Court, Foleshill Enterprise Park, Courtaulds Way, Coventry CV6 5NX (the “Promoter”).

2. THE COMPETITION

2.1    The title of the competition is My world of installation (“MWOI”) ‘Totally Wired’ eNewsletter sign up.

2.2    The recipients of the ABB MWOI eMailer promoting the competition may complete and submit the newsletter sign up form for the chance to win one of the prizes.

2.3    One (1) competition entrant drawn at random who have submitted the ‘Totally Wired’ eNewsletter sign up forms received by the Promoter will be eligible to win the prize, subject to the conditions of 4 (Eligibility).

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1    The competition will run from 00:00 on the 12th of February 2018 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 on the 27th of June 2018 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

3.2    To enter the competition, complete the ‘Totally Wired’ eNewsletter sign up form, which can be found on the competition website page linked from the competition eMailer, and submit the form.

3.4    Please note that only original forms received will be accepted. Any other kind of sign up attempt will be rejected.

3.5    No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draws.

3.6    The Promoter will not accept: responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any network failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

3.7    By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. ELIGIBILITY

4.1    The competition is only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over who are recipients of the ABB MWOI eMailer which features the ABB My world of installation ‘Totally Wired’ eNewsletter sign up promotion or who sign up to receive such eNewsletter via the ABB website. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these conditions, the following individuals will not be eligible to enter the competition:

         (a) employees or contractors of the Promoter or any of its group companies;

         (b) any other individual involved in the running of the competition; and

         (c) family members of any individual described in conditions 4.1(a) to (c)
              inclusive

4.2    In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

4.3    The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are: automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties or in bulk; illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or incomplete.

4.4    There is a limit of one entry to the competition per eligible individual. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No individual entrant may win more than one prize.

4.5    The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

5. THE PRIZE

5.1    Every Thursday between the 15th of February and the 28th June one winner will be chosen by
         random draw performed by a computer process.

5.2    The prize available to be won is 1 x ABB branded TANOS tool box filled with a variety of ABB branded
         merchandise.

5.3    All prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes
         of equivalent or greater value.

5.4    Prizes are not negotiable or transferable. For the avoidance of doubt, no cash equivalent
         is available.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION

6.1    The Promoter will contact the winners personally each week of the draws or via email each week or as soon as practicable after the end of the relevant prize draw, using the email address provided on the form submission.

6.2    The outcome of each prize draw as is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

7.1    The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize.

7.3    The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or representatives will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its affiliated companies, agents or representatives or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

9.1    If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that your name and the name of your business may be displayed on the Promoter’s website.

9.2    You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter and to the use of your name and photograph in such publicity if you are a winner. This publicity may include use of your name and photograph on the Promoter’s website, Twitter page and/or other social media outlets.

9.3    By entering the competition, you consent to the Promotor and/or its agents and suppliers processing the personal data provided by you with the competition entry for the following purposes only:

         (a) the administration of the competition;

         (b) the publicity described in clause 9.1 and 9.2 above; and

         (c) the provision to you of marketing communications in the form of the ABB My world of installation 'Totally Wired' eNewsletter. You can unsubscribe from the eNewsletter at any time by following the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the same.

10. GENERAL

10.1   If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

10.2  The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

10.3  These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
