Rules:

• Collective invoices are not permitted
• State Value Added Tax separately, i.e. show the gross and the net amounts
• No offsetting of credit notes – instead, send separate invoice and credit note
• No crediting of differences – instead, cancel the incorrect invoice and issue a new invoice showing the correct amount and send to  invoice.submit@ch.abb.com 
• Avoid using terms such as “Invoice Correction”; write “Credit Note”, otherwise there is a risk that rectifications may be booked as new invoices.

Complaints – i.e. returns, (part) quantities / goods destroyed – require a credit of the invoice. A replacement delivery will be made with a new invoice stating the same order number.

Information on your invoice that deviates from the supplier master data stored for you by ABB will result in the invoice being blocked. The invoice can only be paid once the supplier has corrected the data himself in ARIBA and these have been transferred to our SAP system. ABB Switzerland - an overview:
The «ABB_GeneralInfo_AccoountsPayable_Transport_Customs» listing provides an overview of all the ABB Schweiz AG companies together with their delivery/invoicing addresses, including distinguishing characteristics (GBS numbers) plus correct group email address and – as regards PMA – further details such as: VAT registration number, company registration number and VAT number plus bank details.

We have recently written to our suppliers to inform them that ABB has introduced a new complaints handling tool (‘Notification to Suppliers of Direct Production Materials into ABB Installation Products Facilities’). We are currently having this communication translated into German and will let you have more details of this new tool. 

This only affects suppliers who deliver direct materials.
All other suppliers can ignore the letter.

Over the coming days and weeks, dominik.urban@ch.abb.com, our quality manager will contact those suppliers who are actually affected in order to discuss the next steps.

Please note:
By ‘delivery time’, we mean the time at which the goods are delivered or the service is provided at the stated address - i.e. the incoming arrival time. 
As regards Incoterms which do not include transport and customs clearance, you must calculate the time needed for these aspects and despatch the goods earlier so that they reach us in good time.

 

The specified partners when PMA is the freight payer and bears the transportation risk. 
PMA is insured against the liability risk if these freight carriers are used.
These partners are also recommended for all other deliveries to Uster.
ABB PMA_Routing Order_FCA-suppliers

ABB works with authorized customs agents. If you work with parcel service providers and forwarders other than DHL and DSV, it is important that you get in touch with our Purchasing Department before despatching the goods. We can then give you our customs clearance instructions and check whether your forwarder is on the list of authorized brokers. This enables us to assign the transport and customs invoices to the relevant shipment and pay them without delay. 
If your transport company is not authorized, it must have customs clearance carried out by DSV. Please contact our Purchasing Department by email at pma-einkauf@ch.abb.com 


In this connection, please add the following note to your documents, preferably directly on the commercial invoice:
Obligatory customs clearance regulation / customs clearance agent for ABB PMA
