PMA recommend to use fixation clips or clamps with conduit systems every 300 mm to 500 mm. The mounting distance may be bigger or smaller depending on application and position.
This recommendation is applied to all available dimensions. With bigger diameters, the increased load (through the inside lying cables and wires) will be taken into account by retaining the fixation distances. PMA offers suitable system supports for different requirements and application areas.
The standard EN 50343:2003-5.15 "Railway applications – Rolling stock – Rules for installation of cabling" intend to apply fixations as following:
• Horizontal wiring: 300 mm
• Vertical wiring: 500 mm
