Spec-Setter™ emergency-power transfer safety switches

Designed for connection to a standby generator or other emergency power source

Type TC emergency-power transfer safety switches are ideal for outdoor applications at rural dwellings and farm buildings. These non-fusible switches come in NEMA Type 3R outdoor enclosures and are available in 100 to 200 A for 120/240 V three-wire systems or 200 A for 240 V four-wire systems. All are UL 98 listed and suitable for use as service entrance equipment when installed as per NEC guidelines.

    Provision for handle locking in ON or OFF position. and one-piece operating yoke provide positive make and break.
  • Convenient installation
    Mounting holes permit quick, easy installation, and various interchangeable rain-tight conduit hubs are available. Conveniently located concentric knockouts remove easily. The compact enclosure offers ample wiring space, and a bonding strap can be used for grounding the factory installed neutral in service entrance applications.
  • Long, reliable service life
    Galvanized steel enclosure and powder-coat finish, equipped with drip shield for rain protection, resists corrosion and chipping. Current-carrying components are plated copper to prevent oxidation for low-resistance contact and cool operation.
