OVRHTE surge protective devices help sensitive electronic equipment against damaging effects of transients caused by lightning, utility load switching, internal load switching, and more. OVRHTE are Listed by UL 1449 4th Edition for Type 2 SPD applications and are available in 25 to 100 kA per mode surge current ratings, 50 to 200 kA per phase. These SPDs require overcurrent protection, like a fuse or breaker. The OVRHTE features internal copper bus conduction paths to minimize system impedances, lowering clamping voltage and increasing protection. They are pre-wired with a 24 inches cables #10 AWG for easier installation.
