Tool-free easy connect technology for safe and faster mounting

Simple, safe and fast. Thanks to the tool-free screwless terminal technology the S200 S can be wired far more quickly and easily than standard screw-type circuit breakers. All kinds of cables can be connected. Rigid cables and flexible cables with end sleeves can be directly plugged in the screwless terminal.
The easy-to-use, smooth-running terminal lever only needs to be pushed to connect flexible cables without end sleeves, or to disconnect the wiring. S200 S range is also fully compatible with all ABB System pro M compact® components like S200.

Improved connection technology


With its unique terminal screwless technology the S 200 S provides maximum flexibility in usage of cables. The screwless load side terminal enables fast installation. Single conductor and flexible cables with end sleeves can be connected directly. Flexible cables connection and disconnection by a simple pression of the rocker switch. S200 S range is also fully compatible with all ABB System pro M compact® components like S200 

Front indication

Safe for maintenance, the position indication on the device front side allows an immediate vision on the miniature switch on/off status.

Environment friend enclosures

By using the state-of-the-art housing material, ABB is taking care of the environment. With the latest generation of thermoplastics it’s possible to recycle the MCBs – especially the thermoplastic housing material can be re-used. By using the latest generation of thermoplastics the material stability of all System pro M compact® MCBs is improved. S200 are 100% free of halogens – no environmental pollution.

It does not matter which cables you connect, because everyone fits!
Single conductor and flexible cables 1-4 mm².
Flexible cables with end sleeves 1-2.5 mm².
 
 
 

Easy connection and disconnection, no matter what cable size


High forces in the screwless terminal safe time for retightening after transport of the assembled enclosure. If the wiring has to be changed only a soft push on the lever is required. S 200 S provides the highest standard of safety for installer. IP20 / IPXXB (finger safe) highest standard of touch protection.

The System pro M compact® MCB’s are equiped with 35 mm² + 10 mm² cylinder lift twin terminals, a well proven and reliable technology - designed for sopisticated industrial use. The cross wiring can easily be done by inserting the System pro M compact® busbars into the rear terminal part and then the incoming wires into the front part of the terminal.
