Workflow

e-Design is a suite consisting of different modules, each with a set of specific features designed to meet the needs of all electrical sector professionals.
In using e-Design, each professional follows a certain workflow based on their work activity.

 

Full workflow

The suite is designed to create the new project from each of the available modules, all linked to the Product and Accessory Selection function.
The full workflow clearly shows that all e-Design modules are closely interconnected and able to communicate with each other: this makes it a perfect tool for all professionals of the electrical industry.
Wholesaler

The estimate is created by adding components to the Quotation module directly from the Product and Accessory Selection module. The process continues with the Engineering of each panel: once this is completed, the system provides a detailed list of components and their respective prices.
Alternatively, it is possible to import the list of components into the Quotation module directly from the single-wire diagram drawn up by the designer using the Electrical Engineering module, and then switch to Switchboard engineering.

Designer

The Electrical Engineering module, typically the designer's starting point, offers the option to access the Cost Estimate module directly or go to the Panel Configuration model first, in order to draw up a rough estimate of the project. Items can be added to the list of materials at every step of the process, through the Product and Accessory Selection function.

Panel builder and installer

The estimate is created by adding components to the Quotation module directly from the Product and Accessory Selection module. The process continues with the Engineering of each switchboard: once this is completed, the system provides a detailed list of components and their respective prices.
If required by the project, it is possible to review the designer's diagram, then move on directly to the switchboard engineering and obtain a switchboard quotation at the end of the process.
