IEC MV primary air insulated switchgear for indoor applications: UniGear family

UniGear ZS1 is produced close to you in all the six continents. Each UniGear ZS1 panel consists of a single unit which can be equipped with a circuit-breaker, contactor or switch-disconnector, as well as with all the accessories available for conventional switchgear units. It is approved to be used for special applications such marine, seismic, nuclear and type tested for IEC, GB/DL, GOST and CSA standards. Units can be coupled together directly with the other products of the UniGear family and motor control centers.

Designed for the highest degree of safety and reliability, the UniGear 500R provides for maximum ease of use. All operations and maintenance actions are made from the front of the panel, which is equiped with mechanical safety interlocks between circuit-breaker and line disconnector. For ENA version only, a cable testing device is also available.

The vacuum circuit-breaker is the well proven Vmax type in a removable arrangement. For optimal flexibility, the UniGear 500R is designed to be used in combination with other version of UniGear switchgear such is ZS1, 550 and MCC.

UniGear 550 is a new type of air insulated switchgear for indoor installations. It’s complete with mechanical interlocks and equipped with ABB Vmax circuit-breaker and the latest earthing switch. UniGear 550 only measures 550mm in width, and it’s start-up, maintenance and service operations can be carried out from the front, witch reduce a lot of space, thus especially suitable for real estate, light industries and substations.

Each UniGear ZS2 (former UniSafe 36) panel consists of a single unit which can be equipped with a circuit-breaker, withdrawable fused device, off load disconnector, as well as with all the accessories available for conventional switchgear units. The panel incorporates a compartment in its upper level to house the auxiliary instrumentation. Units can be coupled together directly with double busbar units, with the possibility for further extension on both sides of the switchgear. The arc-proof units have been tested in compliance with IEC Standards. The power cables branch connectors are accessible from the front.

UniGear ZS3.2 switchgear is designed for use in 36kV and 40.5kV systems. It is a modular apparatus made of aligned standard units equipped with floor mounted vacuum or SF6 insulated circuit breakers. Versatile panel arrangement allow most switchgear configurations to be implemented. UniGear ZS3.2 complies with IEC and also with the Chinese " GB" National Standards and "DL" design requirements.
