This monitoring solution provides a comprehensive analysis of electrical and mechanical faults in the complete shaft line, including the motor, gearbox (if any) and driven load (fan, pump, compressor). The system collects vibration and electrical data (current and voltage) in order to address issues in crucial areas: rotor windings, power quality, installation, bearings, gear condition and driven load condition.

Unique software

This unique patented condition monitoring software platform was developed after extensive R&D at ABB research centers. The software takes aspects of motor and gearbox design and construction into consideration using a model-based approach, with special algorithms to increase the reliability of defect identification and to quantify defect severity.
