ABB ranked among Top Graduate Employers in China for the 2nd year in a row

ABB China was named a Top Graduate Employer of China, according to the recently announced results of an annual campus employers survey. This is the second consecutive year for ABB to win the recognition for its excellent performance in talent attraction, talent development and caring, as well as its strong support to education and the cultivation of young talents.

The “Top Graduate Employers” is co-launched by 51job.com, the leading integrated human resources service provider in China, and yingjiesheng.com, the leading online job search portal for college users in China. After a series of graduate satisfaction survey and employer questionnaire, 140 companies were recognized as the Top Graduate Employers 2023 and became the benchmark companies in campus recruitment.

Creating safety, fairness, equality and inclusion in the workplace

The safety and good health of employees are a top priority of ABB. In the field of occupational health management, ABB provides well-being programs that are designed to improve the happiness and build resilience for employees both in terms of physical fitness and mental health.

ABB China launched Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in 2021 to care for employees’ mental health and so far has provided the service more than 1000 times. This year, ABB further introduced a series of mental health courses to provide professional support for employees and their families.

In additional to a comfortable working environment, ABB also provides a comprehensive compensation & benefit system and paid leave. For example, the company has introduced a parental leave program for all employees to ensure each parent can spend more time with the newborn and provide better support for families. Another example is ABB Cup Innovation Contest, which has been co-hosted by ABB and Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) to nurture Interdisciplinary talents and applied talents that meet new requirements from the emerging technologies. With a history of 18 years, the Contest has attracted more than 20,000 participants with an aim to inspire creative thinking and improve practical skills to solve problems in real industrial scenes.
