ABB welcoming Nordkontakt to the partner network

The experienced and growing Norwegian automation and IT sales and service company Nordkontakt AS recently joined ABB as an official channel partner. With its headquarters in Bodø, Norway, about 100 km north of the Arctic circle, Nordkontakt now has the distinction of being the northernmost ABB channel partner anywhere in the world.
Nordkontakt is in a unique position in northern Norway as the leading automation company in the region, with a history dating back to 1966. The company delivers products and services at all levels of the process, from simple components to turnkey commissioned facilities.
With a skilled staff of around 100 employees, it will be the ABB sales and service partner for the region from Trondheim up to the North Cape, around 1,000 km north of Trondheim.
A combination of competencies for customers
By joining process automation sales, technology and service forces in the northern Norway market, ABB and Nordkontakt will provide a broader range of competencies to customers there. Nordkontakt will cover offshore and onshore process automation customers, including (but not limited to) aquaculture, hydropower, mining, water and wastewater.
