ABB Inc, Grid Automation in Raleigh, NC hereby announces that the generator protection unit, GPU2000R, will be moved to Obsolete phase according to the Product Life Cycle Policy on March 31, 2019. After 20+ years of successful service, key electronic components are no longer commercially available and ABB has started the obsolescence process for this product.
