ABB service operations expand in Latin America with opening of Colombia unit

  • ABB expands its Electrification Service presence in Latin America with opening of Colombia unit in response to rising demand
  • New service offering will complement ABB’s established Electrification businesses in Colombia and help customers improve performance, lifetime and operational efficiency of electrical assets

In response to the growing demand for operational efficiency and sustainability across industrial companies in Latin America, ABB has launched a new Electrification Service unit in Colombia. Headquartered in Bogota, the new operation will help customers optimize the performance of their existing electrical infrastructure to achieve greater productivity and reach desired sustainability targets.

The new ABB Electrification Service unit will leverage a strong installed base in Colombia across infrastructure, utility, oil & gas and renewables segments, helping customers effectively maintain, upgrade or replace their aging low- and medium-voltage electrical assets, ensuring availability and reliability of their electrical systems.
