ABB has launched a new mobile app that enables customers and ABB Service teams to monitor their UPS 24/7/365. The ABB Ability™ SmartTracker app is available on iOS and Android platforms. 

For any UPS that is responsible for keeping a critical application running, it is essential to have real-time UPS status data. This easy-to-use app simplifies the way users monitor and manage Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, offering convenience, control, and reliability.

The UPS SmartTracker app provides real-time monitoring of UPS performance, battery status, and system health, ensuring users can proactively manage their power supply and prevent downtime. Key features of the app include instant alerts, detailed analytics, and seamless integration with existing ABB UPS systems.

ABB launched the ABB Ability™ SmartTracker in 2023. SmartTracker uses cloud-based infrastructure to provide remote supervision of multiple UPS devices and the electrical system. When critical power events occur, SmartTracker sends immediate alerts to users and to a team of UPS professionals in ABB’s 24/7 technical support center in Quartino, Switzerland and to local service organizations.

A simple plug-and-play upgrade suitable for ABB’s high-performance UPS solutions, the proprietary ANC Network Card is easy to install. Once connected, customers and ABB UPS experts can use the SmartTracker app to monitor their system at any time and from anywhere. Both the hardware and firmware are designed for cybersecurity, guaranteeing the highest levels of protection and security.
