ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation technologies, will showcase its innovative solutions at bauma 2025 (April 7-13, Munich, Germany) the world's leading trade fair for construction vehicles and machinery and mining machines.
With over 140 years of experience in electrification and automation, ABB technologies are helping companies in the mining and construction industries to achieve their zero-emissions goals while supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and productive operations. ABB will present products designed to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and performance in demanding applications. Visitors can experience firsthand how ABB’s technologies are reshaping these sectors by visiting Booth 413 in Hall C2.
ABB will also be hosting a press event on Tuesday 8 April between 8.30 and 9.30am at its booth to discuss the work being done towards making these industries greener, smarter, and more efficient.
The company is set to launch a range of products designed to provide comprehensive solutions for hybrid and fully electric construction and mining vehicles, catering to both new builds and retrofits, including:
- HES580 Mobile Inverter: The first 3-level inverter for working machine applications, the HES580 increases motor efficiency by reducing harmonic losses by up to 75%. The inverter also helps to extend the motor lifetime as less stress is placed on the winding system.
- AMXE160 Motor: The AMXE portfolio, which now includes the new AMXE160 motor, offers high configuration with various frame sizes and power options ranging from 30kW to over 600kW. The complete portfolio delivers high-performance motors with improved power density and efficiency for demanding environments.
- Pro Battery Series: Next-generation traction battery system for heavy-duty electric vehicles, these batteries are compact and lightweight in design and offer high safety and extended lifetime.
