When Hirschvogel Pinghu, a major drive shaft manufacturer, needed to modernize its ABB Foundry robots, Hangzhou Zhiyi provided the solution, recommending the advanced IRB6700-300 robot, ABB’s TPU4 teach pendant and DSQC1024 main controller. The upgrade was carried out by Hangzhou Zhiyi at the customer’s site, with its professional execution and seamless support earning praise from the customer.
In another case, Hangzhou Zhiyi helped Jiangsu Changshu Automotive Trim Group avoid unexpected production downtime at its Yuyao plant when the main cable in an IRB2600 robot failed. Thanks to its partnership with ABB, Hangzhou Zhiyi quickly sourced a replacement cable and restored operations on the same day, minimizing disruption and safeguarding the customer’s output.
Building a service network for regional growth
Looking ahead, Hangzhou Zhiyi plans to scale its ABB robotics services across the region. The company is actively establishing a network of local service centers, each equipped to provide expert support and rapid response. This includes offering refurbished robots and replacing non-ABB robots with ABB models for clients with budget constraints.
