Last month, 16 employees from the ABB Installation Products Jonesboro facility put ABB values into action by volunteering at the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas. With sleeves rolled up and spirits high, the team assembled senior meal packs to serve some of the most vulnerable members of their local community.
By the Numbers:
- 9 pallets of food packed by the team
- 360 meal packs prepared for local seniors
- 13,000+ pounds of food assembled
- 10,890 meals provided to community members in need
“Our day at the Northeast Arkansas Food Bank was another great example of the ABB Jonesboro team living our values of Care and Collaboration,” said Richard Hartness, General Manager, Jonesboro. “Through this act of service, our employees showed the real impact we can make together. Supporting local volunteer organizations and charities is simply part of who we are.”

"We are so grateful for ABB’s hard work and dedication in packing senior meals," shared Elizabeth Johnson, Donor Engagement Coordinator Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas. "Your support plays a vital role in helping us serve our community—and we truly couldn’t do it without amazing volunteers like you. ABB has an incredible team and is always a joy to have with us. We deeply appreciate all of your hard work, positive energy and continued efforts. Thank you for making a difference!"
Thank you, Jonesboro team, for turning one volunteer day into thousands of meals!
