From August 19-21, 2025, ABB NEMA Motors Division global headquarters in Fort Smith, Arkansas, U.S., hosted representatives from ABB’s channel partners throughout Latin America for the Baldor-Reliance Motor Academy. Twenty-three customers were joined by ABB instructors, sales managers and product managers.
For three days, participants gained a higher level of understanding of the entire Baldor-Reliance portfolio, ABB’s highly efficient and sustainable product line. Guests acquired practical knowledge of AC motor manufacturing, ModExpress motor customization process, ABB Ability™ Smart Sensors and the RPM AC Wizard configurator. The R&D lab, warehouse and manufacturing plant tour were also included in the agenda. Sessions were conducted in Spanish and English, which brought a greater level of comfort, retention and idea sharing among ABB’s valued partners. The LATAM Motor Academy is held annually in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
