ABB welcomed over 200 customers, partners and industry stakeholders to Power Innovation Day 2025 on the 1st of August 2025 in Hanoi, where the global technology leader in electrification and automation showcased its latest technologies integrating digitalization and AI. These innovations aim to help Vietnamese industries outrun with operations that are smarter, safer, and more sustainable.
The event featured expert presentations, interactive demonstrations, and the launch of new products. Through these activities, ABB highlighted how its innovative solutions enable intelligent energy management and long-term operational efficiency, supporting Vietnam’s journey toward a more resilient and sustainable future.
Showcasing solutions that power the future
Four interactive zones at the event showcased ABB’s latest innovations across low- and medium-voltage segments, covering Smart Home & Building, Electrical Safety, Energy and Asset Management, and Grid of the Future. Each solution focused on helping industries enhance energy performance, reduce emissions, and improve operational resilience.
In the Smart Home & Building zone, ABB presented its KNX-based building automation system with elegant user interfaces such as Trevion and RoomTouch panels. The full range of sockets, switches and power protection devices demonstrated how ABB enhances comfort, control, and energy efficiency in residential, hospitality, and commercial environments.
The Electrical Safety zone featured ABB’s complete portfolio of protective technologies, including circuit breakers (MCB, RCBO, RCCB), arc fault detection (AFDD), modular enclosures, and surge protection systems. These solutions are designed to ensure maximum safety, flexibility and reliability for both home and building applications.
At the Energy Management zone, ABB showcased Lite Panel Pro through a live demonstration, focusing on its connectivity with various types of electrical equipment. This new digital solution offers a new approach to monitoring and controlling the electrical distribution board, helping operators make faster and more effective decisions based on data-driven insights.
In the Grid of the Future zone, ABB presented its future-proof technologies in power distribution and automation solution including the Modular prefabricated solutions (E-House, Prefabricated Skid Unit, smart Compact Secondary Substation), smart switchgears, intelligent all-in one protection and control relays REX615 with fully modular and scalable hardware and software designation, Moreover, as a global leader in smart substation automation, ABB continues to lead with centralized all protection and control functionality into one single device for minimal engineering, station-wide visibility and optimal process management , early adoption of IEC 61850 and pioneering work in Virtual Protection Relay (VPR), AI fault prediction and system management, positioning it at the forefront of intelligent power grid innovation.

Lite Panel Pro, a state-of-the-art touchscreen HMI solution for low-voltage switchboards. This smart solution helps industrial and commercial facilities optimize energy use, reduce downtime, and enhance safety through remote access and predictive insights.
